The Hopewell Quarry has an opening for a Head Lifeguard/Pool Manager to oversee our daily operations and will report to the Operations Manager. The candidate must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, communicate with the staff, analyze and resolve problems, use independent judgment, and deal successfully with visitors.

Applicants must be able to maintain safe swimming conditions in the pool, Quarry, and surrounding areas. You must be able to create a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes safety in accordance with the Hopewell Quarry and Red Cross policies and procedures.

We are looking for responsible individuals who are seeking flexible hours in a fun, fast paced environment. Gate attendants welcome visitors at the entrance, take payment using the POS system and assist in care of the facility. You will be the “ambassador” of the pool for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make.

The Hopewell Quarry has an opening for an Assistant Manager to oversee our daily operations and will report to the Executive Director. The candidate must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, communicate with the staff, analyze and resolve problems, use independent judgment, and deal successfully with visitors.

The Hopewell Quarry has an opening for a Swimming Facility Manager. The Manager will be responsible for working closely with the Friends of Hopewell Quarry to operate the Hopewell Quarry as a public and sustainable active recreation facility. The candidate must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, communicate with the staff, analyze and resolve problems, use independent judgment, and deal successfully with visitors. This is a hands-on position which requires spending most work time during the summer outdoors as well as some lifting and minor facilities maintenance and improvement.
